Discover Öland’s stone coast with local delicacies and fascinating stories about limestone, the sea, and the region’s unique history during an atmospheric evening walk with Visit Kalmar Öland.

Hike and enjoy the sea and the unique history of the area. During this 3 km long tour, you will hear exciting stories about Öland's limestone, abandoned quarries and the only skulk mill in the Nordic countries.

Guide Charlotte Axelsson offers local tales interspersed with locally produced delicacies.

The food is served on the limestone cliffs with a view of the sea. Here you will find charcuterie, bean salad, hummus and other Öland delicacies.

The walk is approximately 3 km long and takes 3 hours, including food stops. Dogs are welcome if kept on a leash.

Meeting Point

We will meet at the scrubber plant in Jordhamn, a few kilometers north of Sandvik on northwestern Öland.
