Culinary walk in the World Heritage – The agricultural landscape of southern Öland

Experience the agricultural landscape of Southern Öland with a guided food walk. You start in the charming artist village of Vickleby. Together with a knowledgeable guide, you walk along the picturesque village street and further out towards the vast Alvaret, where you can enjoy Öland specialties under the open sky.

Local delicacies such as charcuterie from natural pasture meat, hummus on beans, sauerkraut and bean salad are offered. The food is served on a limestone wall with a view of the mythical landscape.

The guide shares exciting stories and legends about the place and tells about Öland's gastronomy linked to the World Heritage.

The hike is approximately 2 km long and takes approximately 2-2.5 hours including a food stop. Dogs are welcome if kept on a leash. The hike and food stop are outdoors, so please dress for the weather conditions.
The tour may be cancelled or changed at short notice due to very bad weather or other circumstances, which is very unusual.
