Explore Silverfallet on a guided walk from Karlsfors Gård. Discover how water, limestone, and local industry shaped this distinctive landscape in Västergötland.
Start at Karlsfors Gård and follow your guide toward Silverfallet, where forest paths, limestone cliffs, and flowing water meet in a landscape shaped by both nature and industry. The area is known for waterfalls, exposed rock, and traces of historic work in Västergötland. During the walk, hear how alun production in the 1800s later developed into a lime industry. See ruins, kilns, carved stone, and water-shaped formations while your guide connects geology, botany, and social history along the route. Profile of supplier
