Step inside Rörstrand Museum, located in the former porcelain factory in Lidköping, and follow the story of one of Sweden’s oldest and most iconic brands. The museum’s newly designed exhibitions showcase a rich collection of ceramics spanning from 18th-century faience to contemporary design.

More than just beautiful objects, the exhibitions reflect the human stories behind the craftsmanship – generations of painters, designers, and factory workers from Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Lidköping. Explore archival material, detailed insights into porcelain production, and temporary exhibits that shed light on both art and industry.

The museum is part of the Rörstrand Center and is easily accessible by car or public transport. From Gothenburg or Mariestad, the scenic Kinnekulle railway takes you to Lidköping, just a short walk from the museum entrance.

The museum is open Thursday to Friday from 10:00 to 17:00, Saturday from 10:00 to 16:00, and Sunday from 11:00 to 15:00. Follow signs for Rörstrand from the city’s entry points. If arriving by train, walk from Lidköping station across the railway bridge straight to Rörstrand Center; the museum entrance is located inside the courtyard.
