Family sleigh ride & dog‑sledding experience in Dragnäs

Start your experience with a warm welcome at the kennel in Dragnäs. You’ll be introduced to the sled dogs, and the team will guide you through how the sled works and how the dogs are prepared for the ride. Then you climb into the family sleigh (max 2 adults + 3 children, or adults from age 14) for a trail ride lasting about 45 minutes.

As you glide across snowy terrain — forest tracks, open fields, the rhythmic sound of the runners on snow — you’ll have the opportunity to sit back, watch the dogs at work, and absorb the winter atmosphere. When the ride ends, you’ll return to the kennel where you help in caring for the dogs, take photos, ask questions and enjoy some relaxed time with the team.

This activity is designed for families: children from 3 years (accompanied by an adult) can join, younger children under 6 years ride free. All participants share in the preparation, ride and post‑ride time, creating a full‑cycle experience of dog sledding in a family‑friendly format.

Adult pricing starts at 950 SEK (for 2 adults + up to 3 children) and children (ages 6‑13) at 600 SEK; pricing structure may vary so check when booking. Participants should dress warmly in layers; the sled ride is in an open winter environment, so gloves, hat and wind‑proof outerwear are recommended. Booking in advance is strongly suggested as places can be limited.
