Join a one-hour boat tour from Björkudden along the Ångerman River and pass several of the region’s well-known bridges and landscapes.
Depart from the pier at Björkudden and travel upstream along the Ångerman River on a one-hour roundtrip. The route takes you through a landscape shaped by mountains, water, and forest, where bridges connect different parts of the region.
During the tour, you will pass beneath several notable bridges, including the High Coast Bridge and both the Large and Small Sandö Bridges. Along the way, you will also hear about historical events connected to the area, including one of Sweden’s most significant workplace accidents.
The journey continues past islands such as Sandö and Svanö, where you turn before heading back downstream. Throughout the trip, you will see remains from the timber industry era and experience the contrasts between deep and shallow waters along the river.
The tour lasts approximately 1 hour and includes no stops. Boarding and return take place at the same pier in Björkudden. There is no toilet onboard.
