Welcome to an afternoon where music, flavors, and history come together in perfect harmony. As the band Bachjazz takes the stage in the Royal Hall, the room transforms into a lively tea room filled with beautiful melodies and a relaxing energy.
Bachjazz is a unique mix of two beloved musical worlds—Johann Sebastian Bach’s timeless classical compositions and the creative freedom of jazz. The trio, consisting of Emil Carlsson Rinstad, Magnus Bergström, and Ola Winkler, blends these styles into something fresh and natural. The result is music that feels both familiar and surprising, where old-school structures meet modern improvisation.
Their music has received high praise. Critic Po Tidholm from the newspaper Dagens Nyheter named their album "Jazz of the Month," describing how Bach suddenly sounds like a Nordic composer, turning complex melodies into something as simple and beautiful as a folk song.
During the concert, guests will sit at round tables in the Royal Hall, served with our signature afternoon tea. On the table, you will find homemade scones, cheese, butter, jams, cream cheese, croissants, and small treats like macarons and truffles. Our staff will be happy to help you choose a tea from our wide selection. The experience begins at 2:00 PM in the Royal Hall, where you’ll be welcomed with a short musical teaser before sitting down to enjoy the food and drink in peace.
This is an invitation to sit back and enjoy the atmosphere in one of Läckö Castle’s most beautiful rooms. Since the castle can be a bit chilly during this time of year, we recommend wearing warm clothes to stay cozy in this historic setting.
During this period, the castle can be quite cold, so we recommend dressing warmly for a cozy experience. Please also note that the Royal Hall is located on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator in the castle.
