The museum is organising an evening with a special focus on the ‘old’ municipality of Kvänum, i.e. the parishes of Edsvära, Fyrunga, Jung, Kvänum, Norra Vånga and Öttum.
Those who participate will have the opportunity to view a selection of the museum’s collections, archives, photographs, and historical and archaeological artefacts from each parish.
ELBAS stands for En Liten Bit Av Skaraborg (A Little Piece of Skaraborg) and is a Facebook group that shares photographs from Kvänum’s “old” municipality.
We’ll start with coffee and fika from 17:30, and the programme itself begins at 18:00. We’ll begin with a joint introduction, then split into four groups and rotate between different stations. The stations are the public exhibitions, archaeological/historical artefacts, archives/library and images/photographs.
The programme takes place at different stations in the museum. There is some walking involved, including some stairs, in between stations. Elevators are available. Fika from 17:30, programme starts proper at 18:00.
