About the artist: Danish Pernille Braun has been a glass sculpture for more than two decades. She has participated in a large number of exhibitions internationally and has had solo exhibitions in France, USA, Belgium and Denmark. In her work, Pernille investigates aspects of time, place and matter, which with great craftsmanship she explores in the medium of glass. She studied at the The Royal Danish Academy of Art Bornholm and gained a MA from the Royal College of Art in London in 2008.
Her work can among others be found in the public collections of Victoria and Albert Museum - London, The Danish Art Foundation,The National Museum Ariana - Genève, Bornholm Art Museum - Denmark and Design Museum Denmark. In 2024 Pernille was awarded a three-year working grant from the Danish Arts Foundation. Pernille is currently based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
