Spend a full week in a rustic log cabin in Swedish Lapland and dive deep into the world of our sleddogs. Enjoy dog cart rides and even steer your own team through the quiet forest, husky hikes, a half-day tour to Gallejaur Cultural Reserve, full board and two private sauna sessions in our wood-fired sauna. Solo travellers, couples and small groups of up to 3 people are very welcome.
Arrive at the farm in Jörn and settle into your rustic log cabin on the edge of a birch grove. Don’t expect luxury – what awaits you is pure Lapland character: a wood-burning stove, a panoramic window looking out into the wilderness, and on clear nights perhaps the first Northern Lights of the season. Take your time to get comfortable, breathe in the Lapland air, and let the adventure begin.
Day 2 – Explore & Kennel Visit
Start the day at your own pace – take a walk around the property, explore the surrounding nature, and get a feel for life this far north. In the afternoon, it’s time to meet the pack: during the kennel visit you’ll get up close with the dogs, learn about each individual character, help with feeding, and hear stories from daily life on the farm. The visit ends around a crackling bonfire with a traditional reindeer kebab.
Day 3 – Dog Cart Ride as a Passenger
Climb aboard the dog cart and feel the raw energy of the pack as the huskies pull you through the autumn forest. The cool, crisp air and the sound of paws on the trail make this an experience you won’t forget.
Day 4 – Husky Hike & Sauna
Head out on a guided husky hike through the colourful autumn landscape – connected to your dog, surrounded by birch and pine. After returning to the farm, the evening is yours to unwind in the private wood-fired sauna. A deeply relaxing end to an active day.
Day 5 – Dog Cart Ride as a Driver
Today the lines are in your hands. You’ll take on the role of musher and guide the team yourself – a moment of pure connection between human and dog that you’ll carry with you long after you leave.
Day 6 – Half-Day Tour to Gallejaur
Spend the day on a half-day trip to the Gallejaur Cultural Reserve, where untouched nature meets fascinating northern Swedish history. The huskies are your companions on the trail, giving you plenty of time to bond with the dogs and soak in the landscape. The evening ends with a second session in the private sauna.
Day 7 – Departure
Enjoy one last breakfast on the farm before saying goodbye to the dogs and the wilderness of Lapland.

The log cabin is a rustic, authentic retreat – not a luxury accommodation. Guests who appreciate simplicity, nature, and a genuine off-grid atmosphere will feel right at home. Please be aware of the following:
Cabin facilities: The cabin is equipped with a wood-burning stove as the only heat source, a small kitchen, and a panoramic bedroom window. A modern composting toilet is located just a few steps outside the cabin. The guest bathroom with shower is situated in the main house nearby.
Water supply: Running water is available in the cabin during milder temperatures. In colder conditions (typically from late October onwards), water is provided in canisters from the main house. Guests are informed of this on arrival.
Activities & weather: All activities are planned with flexibility and adapted daily to the wishes and needs of our guests. Depending on weather conditions and trail conditions, individual activities may be modified, rescheduled, or in rare cases cancelled at short notice – the safety of our guests and the well-being of the dogs always come first. In such cases, we will always offer a suitable alternative.
Dogs: Guests are welcome to bring their own dogs free of charge. A 4,000 m² fenced free-run area is available on the property.
Physical fitness: No prior experience with sled dogs or hiking is required. Activities are suitable for healthy adults with a basic level of fitness. Please inform us in advance of any relevant health conditions or physical limitations so we can plan accordingly.
What to bring: Warm, layered clothing is essential – autumn in Lapland can be cold, wet, and unpredictable. Sturdy waterproof footwear is strongly recommended. A detailed packing list will be provided upon booking.
