The cottage comfortably accommodates two people on the sofa bed in the room or up on the loft's two mattresses, but it is possible to sleep for four people if you enjoy being together. The kitchen is fully equipped, there is a toilet and shower available. The grocery store is within walking distance and the community is also home to the reputable Steneby School.
The rowing boat is moored right by the cabin and you can sluice upwards along Dals Långed's locks and on to Långbron, the last lock north towards Laxsjön. Here there is an Ice Cream Café and a stop for canal boats and the railway between Mellerud and Bengtsfors. After the lock at Långbron, free navigation out to Laxsjön awaits. Why not visit the guest harbor at Baldersnäs mansion and admire the temple-inspired boathouse, one of the many memories from Carl Fredrik Waern's romantic park from the early 1800s. Rowing boat and sluice are included in the rent.
