Located on an small island in Gustavsfors, Alcatraz Adventures Hostel & Camping is the perfect abode for an adventure trip in the Dalsland Canal. Surrounded by pristine nature and crystal-clear water, this accommodation is ideal for solo, family, and recreational travellers.

Spend the day exploring the amazing nature around and try activities like hiking, canoeing or volleyball. Alcatraz Adventures also has a climbing wall for those who want to try a challenging but fun activity! After a day filled with activities or recreation, light the campfire and enjoy a homemade barbecue in the grill area.

There is also a restaurant on the premises which is open during the summer.

The hostel has 24 beds spread over nine rooms with different capacities. Guests can use the shared kitchen to prepare meals. The corridor provides access to shared shower and toilet facilities. Have fun and enjoy activities such as rock climbing, kayaking, volleyball and swimming at the private jetty.

The campsite at Alcatraz, is one of the leading accommodation and activity providers in Gustavsfors. At the cozy campsite, there are tents, some with electricity, set up in the middle of lush greenery right by a beautiful lake. Live in solitude but with quick access to amenities such as a spacious shower area, toilets and sinks.

In addition to hostels and camping, Alcatraz has an apartment. The capacity for this apartment is six people, with the possibility to bring your dog (additional price is added).

Water enthusiasts can come along with their boat (with prior notice) and moor it in the dock or jetty on the premises. What’s more, you can bring your dog along as the property is pet-friendly and provides separate booking for your four-legged friend!
